Concept, theory and history walk side by side in the broad field of International Relations. This does not mean that they necessarily work in cooperative way towards building the epistemological identity of International Relations. However, it is true that these three approaches have equally contributed to the development of this fresh academic science originated in Europe and the UNited States of America in the 20th century.
